Mavs themed wedding
Pirate birthday cake
I also made a smash cake that looked like a treasure map. I thought it turned out pretty cute!
Playing catch up
This is a butterfly cake that I made for a baby shower. I made it bigger than I had planned, so I had some trouble getting everything onto the board. I loved making this cake since I got to use disco dust, which is my favorite thing!
These mini cupcakes were also made for a baby shower. It's sometimes difficult to come up with decorations that will fit on a mini cupcake. But these little buttons were perfect.
This cake was for a friend's son. It was his 16th birthday and she wanted to give him an awesome Batman cake. I thought it would be cool to make the city below and a spotlight with the Batman signal on top. I was very happy with this cake.
These cupcakes were made for a bachelorette party. I had so much fun making these bustiers. In case you couldn't tell, I love glitter!
This cake was made for a little boy's birthday. It's a very simple cake, but I fall in love with it more and more everytime I look at it.
I made this cake for my aunt's birthday. She dominates at Words With Friends so I thought it was appropriate to make her a scrabble piece.
These cupcakes were made for a friend of mine that wanted to surprise her sorority sisters.
These cupcakes were made for a graduation from Baylor.
And this last cake was made for a baby shower. The theme was Carter's train theme. I don't get to make many boy cakes, so I always get excited to make one. And I don't think this cake could be any cuter!
Last week's cakes & cupcakes
I also made these adorable cupcakes for a friend at work. He wanted to surprise his fiance with them.
This is probably one of my favorite cakes. I made this for a special little girl's birthday. She wanted a Barbie cake so we decided to do the shiloutte. I had drew the little Eiffel Towers so they had an almost cartoon look to them.
And lastly I made some German chocolate cake pops. I've been really bad about taking pictures of the cake pops I make. But I was pretty proud of these and I thought they looked cute.
Cake overload
I made this wine bottle cake for a joint 50th birthday. I've been wanting to make one of these for a while now. It's half chocolate and half vanilla cake with buttercream icing. I painted the bottle with piping gel to give it a shiny look. I didn't think about adding the grapes until the last minute, so I picked up some fake grapes. Next time I will make the grapes out of cake balls or macaroons.
I made these cupcakes for a Dallas Stars theme birthday.
These cupcakes were made for a friend's baby shower. She wanted mini cupcakes that matched the colors of her shower. I decided to put little flowers on top. They were simple yet so cute!
My best friend and her husband created a theater group that puts on plays downtown. For the opening night of their most recent play Alice in Wonderland, I donated mini cupcakes that said "eat me."
This cake was made for little boy's birthday. It was Pokemon themed, and the cake was lemon raspberry.
I made this cake for a 54th birthday. It was red velvet with cream cheese icing. This is the first cake that I have made in the shape of numbers. It was definitely a learning process!
This cake was made for my boss' wife. I was a little nervous to pipe out the message on top, but it turned out great.
This past weekend I had 2 pretty big orders. The first was a ladybug cake. The 3 tier cake was HUGE and so heavy. But I loved the colors and design on it.
I made this ladybug smash cake to go along with it. And it doesn't get much cuter than this!
The second cake I made was a princess cake. This is probably one of my favorite cakes.
I also made a smash cake to go along with it.
And there you have it. Like I said, I was very busy this month.
