Rock Star Birthday

My other cousin had a birthday party for his son Paxton who turned 1. The theme of the party was "Rock Star".

I made a chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. I loved how this cake turned out. (Sorry for the bad lighting.)

Here is a close-up of the guitar. I made it to look like the shirt of his that inspired the theme.

I also made a smash cake for Paxton.

Along with the cakes I made microphone cake pops. I made a round cake pop and used icing and luster dust on the top. For the handle I used modeling chocolate.

Housewarming Party

I made these goodies for my cousin's housewarming party. His wife loves brown and blue, so I used that for the theme.

Wizards of Waverly Place

This birthday cake was made for a Wizards of Waverly Place themed party. They wanted lots of stars and shimmer. I painted all the fondant accents with shimmer to make it look extra cute.

Baby shower

I made this for a baby shower we are having at work. I wanted to make a simple, but pretty cake. This is a strawberry cake with buttercream icing. The butterflies are made of fondant.

These were made for Mario Bros. themed birthday party. I had trouble with the fondant on the cake. I'm not sure why, but it started to crack. I tried to cover up as much as I could on the cake. It's a vanilla cake with buttercream icing. The little figures on top are the only things not edible.

The cupcakes turned out real cute. They are lemon raspberry with fondant toppers.

I made the cake pops to look like the little mushrooms from the game. It was late and I was tired, so I didn't realize that almost all of the pictures I took were blurry. So here is the best non-blurry picture I have. It doesn't do it justice because they were so cute in person.
